  • Common Vein Issues

Have you noticed large, bulging veins on your legs or your thighs? These purplish areas can be an indication that the veins below your skin's surface have valve damage. Weakness in the valves causes blood to regurgitate towards the legs, causing pain, swelling, and fatigue. In addition to discoloration and bulging, you may also experience other symptoms such as restless or heavy legs, cramping, throbbing or itching. Without treatment, you might be at risk of developing ulcers in the lower legs.
